Who we are

DMIT Solutions is a trading name of Danny McKenna, a sole trader based in Newry, Northern Ireland. We are the data controller for personal data described in this policy.

What this website collects

This website does not run analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or any third-party scripts. It sets no cookies. It loads no fonts, media or code from other companies' servers.

The only information we receive is what you choose to send us in an enquiry.

The enquiry form

The enquiry form on the contact page is not currently connected to a server. It checks your entries in your own browser, then hands them to your email application with the details already filled in. Nothing is transmitted to us, and nothing is stored by this website, unless you choose to send that email.

When you do send it, we receive the details you included: typically your name, company, email address, phone number if you gave one, the type of project, an indication of budget, and your description of the work.

If this ever changes and the form begins submitting directly, this policy will be updated before that happens.

Why we use it, and for how long

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to run that engagement. The lawful bases are our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Enquiry correspondence is kept in our mailbox for as long as it remains commercially relevant, and deleted when it does not. We do not add enquiries to a mailing list and we do not send marketing.

Who else is involved

We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Two providers process data on our behalf as part of running the business: the company that hosts this website, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability, and the company that provides our email.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Write to info@dmit-solutions.com and we will respond.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
