There are no cookies on this website — none of our own, and none from anyone else. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party embed that could set one.

The one thing we do store

The site stores a single value in your browser's session storage, named dmit:intro-seen. It records that you have already seen the short opening animation, so it does not replay every time you move between pages.

It holds the value 1 and nothing else. It never leaves your device, it is not readable by anyone else, and your browser discards it when you close the tab. It is strictly necessary for the site to behave sensibly, which is why it does not require consent.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist to ask permission for non-essential storage. This site has none to ask about, so putting a banner in front of you would be theatre rather than compliance.

If we ever add analytics or anything else non-essential, we will ask for your consent before it loads, and this page will say what it is.

Managing storage

You can clear site storage at any time through your browser settings. The site works normally without it — you will simply see the opening animation again.
